The Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency ,( KEPROBA) joined key stakeholders at the Nakuru Leaders Meeting, hosted by Cabinet Secretary Hon. Salim Mvurya, to officially launch preparations for the highly anticipated 2025 WRC Safari Rally. Scheduled to take place from March 20–23, 2025.

The event promises to be more than just a motorsport spectacle,it is a strategic platform for economic growth, tourism promotion and investment attraction.

KEPROBA is leveraging on the WRC Safari Rally to position Kenya as a global motorsports destination besides showcasing the vast potential in micro and macro economic enterprises through the Made in Kenya Initiative, showcasing Kenya’s warm spirit, enthusiasm, welcoming nature and the unique Safari destination that Kenya is famous for.

Mvurya commended the event organizers for elevating Kenya’s WRC Safari Rally to world-class standards, positioning it as one of the best in the global motorsport calendar.

He also underscored the country’s growing reputation as a top-tier host for international sporting events, citing Kenya’s successful bid to organize the AFCON and CHAN tournaments.

The WRC Safari Rally remains a cornerstone of Kenya’s nation-branding strategy, offering unparalleled opportunities to showcase the country’s quality products, investment potential and commitment to sustainable development.
