Safaricom’s ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge Rewards Two Winners with Brand-New Suzuki Altos

Two lucky winners have driven away in brand-new Suzuki Altos after emerging victorious in Safaricom’s (NSE: SCOM) thrilling ‘Wai Ndai’ challenge.

John Maina, 34, from Naivasha, Nakuru County, and Paul Njihia, 32, a gamer based in Ruiru, Kiambu County, were named the first grand prize winners of the ongoing online gaming competition.

The ‘Wai Ndai’ challenge, which has captivated over 200,000 participants nationwide, tests players in puzzles, arcade, and action games, offering daily cash prizes and a monthly grand prize of a Suzuki Alto.

The challenge, which is set to run until February 18, 2025, is part of Safaricom Hook’s Culture Hook, a campaign aimed at empowering young people by integrating technology into their passion points, including gaming.

Making his remarks,one of the winners John Maina said that the car will greatly improve his mobility and boost his business, especially during these tough economic times.

“I am excited to have emerged as one of the winners of this competition,” he said as he expressed his gratitude after receiving his car.

Speaking on Friday at Safaricom Headquarters,Safaricom’s Chief Consumer Business Officer, Fawzia Ali, highlighted the company’s commitment to engaging the youth through digital entertainment.

“Through the ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge, our goal is to deliver an exciting gaming experience that resonates with young customers while keeping them entertained and rewarding them with amazing prizes.”he said.

With one more Suzuki Alto still up for grabs, Safaricom is encouraging gaming enthusiasts to take part for a chance to win.

Participants can enter by visiting sc.wineazy.com, using the MySafaricom App, or dialing **USSD 555# and 499# to sign up for the Challenges Arena for as little as KES 10 per day.

Daily prizes of KES 3,000, KES 2,000, and KES 1,000 vouchers are also available, making every gaming session a potential win.

As the competition enters its final stretch, anticipation is high for who will claim the last grand prize another brand-new Suzuki Alto before the challenge concludes.
