Gordon’s High Tea Brings Winter ‘Par-Tea’ Glamour to Nairobi

The world’s leading international gin brand, Gordon’s, made a stylish comeback this past Saturday at the Holiday Inn Nairobi Two Rivers with its second edition of the much-loved ‘Par-Tea’ High Tea experience.

The event, held in partnership with the hotel, blended the sophistication of gin, the charm of tea culture, and the flair of Nairobi’s social scene. Guests were treated to tea-infused Gordon’s cocktails, an array of sweet and savoury delicacies, and a curated DJ soundtrack.

Fashionably dressed in muted winter tones, Nairobi’s tastemakers, creatives, and lifestyle enthusiasts embraced an afternoon of indulgence and connection. “The High Tea experience is our way of showing the versatility of Gordon’s – it’s not just a gin, it’s a lifestyle,” said Wangeci Gakenia, Gordon’s Brand Manager at EABL. “We wanted to create something playful, premium, and perfect for daytime socialising. The turnout and energy exceeded expectations.”

Each ticket included a bottle of Gordon’s gin, underlining the brand’s commitment to memorable consumer experiences. Guests enjoyed an interactive karaoke session led by Anto Neosoul and the Revolution Band, while the hotel’s scenic poolside evolved into a twilight lounge as the evening wore on.

Pooja Patel, General Manager at Holiday Inn Nairobi Two Rivers, praised the collaboration: “This event reflects our vision of crafting unforgettable experiences that marry hospitality and culture. It’s more than cocktails – it’s about community, flavour, and style.”

With its blend of tradition and modern flair, Gordon’s High Tea continues to redefine gin enjoyment in Kenya, transforming a classic afternoon ritual into a vibrant, contemporary celebration.
