Findings from Phase I revealed strong impact: 98 percent of students said the internet met their educational needs, 84 percent found learning more engaging, and 71 percent gained better understanding of complex subjects.
The Smart Classroom effort is part of Huawei’s global TECH4ALL initiative, which seeks to advance digital inclusion worldwide. In Kenya, it directly supports the government’s Vision 2030 and aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on quality education, reduced inequalities, and innovation.
By showcasing practical solutions and forging partnerships, the workshop highlighted a clear pathway for scaling digital learning in the country. For educators, the message was simple: technology can level the playing field and open new frontiers in learning for all Kenyan students.
