GOTAAB Welcomes Every Member to Join Its Journey of Empowerment and Unity
GOTAAB Kalenjin Association (G.K.A.) invites all Kenyans to become part of its growing community dedicated to grassroots empowerment, leadership, and social transformation. Founded in 2021 under the Societies Act of Kenya, GOTAAB is a registered nonprofit and nonpolitical welfare association with a bold vision: to build a united and empowered society where every member contributes to sustainable development and shared prosperity.
The name GOTAAB, meaning “Our Home” in Kalenjin, reflects the organization’s foundational values of inclusivity, community, and collective responsibility. True to its name, GOTAAB opens its doors to members from all tribes, religions, and social backgrounds, making it a home for all who believe in progress, dignity, and unity.
The association’s core focus areas include economic empowerment for women and youth, leadership and entrepreneurship training, social outreach for vulnerable groups, and fostering mutual relations among members. It also champions peace, communication, and development through community-based projects and strategic partnerships.
“Our mission goes beyond community ties. We are here to inspire responsible leadership, promote self-reliance, and support development efforts that uplift every Kenyan,” said Chairperson Wesley Kipkorir Rono.
Membership is open to all adults aged 18 and above. A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of Ksh. 1,000 is required, payable via KCB Bank or Paybill. Once registered, members gain access to training, mentorship, and welfare initiatives.
In addition to individual members, GOTAAB welcomes partners, donors, and organizations willing to support its work through financial aid, mentorship, or in-kind contributions.
