Elite Brands International Awards to Shine a Spotlight on Excellence in Nairobi

The Elite Brands International Awards will take place on December 13, 2024, mainly to celebrates not only top performers in various industries but also the values and processes that contribute to their success and showcasing the achievements of global and Kenyan companies.

Elite Brands Awards International is an annual industry leadership recognition survey organized by Jubilant Stewards of Africa, a Non-Governmental Organization, to celebrate industry leaders from various countries of Africa for their innovation, leadership by example, quality goods and services production, creating job opportunities, growing the economy and transforming the society.

The main emphasis of the event is to encourage organizations and individuals to go beyond their comfort zone in their service to humanity. Elite brands international awards is based on the economic and social impact rather than profits or income generated.

This year, the awards will bring together 100 companies from 18 African nations to honor those who go above and beyond in service to humanity and ethical leadership organized by Jubilant Stewards of Africa, the awards emphasize the importance of both innovation and ethical business practices.

Speaking during a press briefing,Jubilant Stewards Executive Director Jared Oundo, noted that the awards represent the culmination of years of hard work, marking their eighth successful event.

“The Elite Brands Awards offer recognition to companies and individuals who are driving positive change in their industries,” Oundo said, adding that the event promotes best practices while spotlighting the importance of sustainability and social responsibility.

The event will be a key networking opportunity, bringing together industry leaders, government officials and media representatives to discuss and celebrate the progress made across various sectors.

Nominees for this year’s awards include a diverse range of organizations, from bus companies like Ena Coach and Trinity Rwanda to healthcare institutions such as Consolata Hospital Mathari.

Additionally, companies like Mwananchi Credit and Kemuma Engineering will be honored for their innovation and contribution to business development.

Making his remarks,Mwananchi Credit CEO Dennis Mombo, expressed gratitude for his company’s nomination, noting that it reinforces their commitment to excellence.

“This award is a testament to the dedication of our team and our drive to continually improve the services we offer,” said Mombo.

In addition to industry leaders, past awardees and sponsors like Safaricom, Kevian Kenya, and BrighterMonday Kenya will also take part, further elevating the event’s significance.

The nominations process is based on surveys, ensuring that the most deserving companies and individuals are recognized for their contributions to business and society with a focus on both industry achievement and ethical leadership.
