Thrills, Triumphs, and Partnerships Take Center Stage at the 2025 January Mug Golf Tournament
The prestigious Karen Country Club was abuzz with excitement as over 100 golfers gathered for the Liberty Kenya-sponsored January Mug Golf Tournament, a celebration of skill, community and enduring partnerships.
The event showcased outstanding performances, with Wade Kilburn clinching the Gross Winner title with a remarkable score of 78 Gross, Tyler Belyon shone as the Junior Winner with 72 Nett, while Henry Maina dominated the Senior Winner category with 70 Nett.

Liberty Life Managing Director Nkoregamba Mwebesa added to the excitement by securing the Staff Winner title with an impressive 76 Nett.
Members of the Liberty Kenya team, including People and Culture GM Felix Ochieng, GM Finance Luke Magambo, and Financial Advisor Nelson Ndegwa, also took to the greens, demonstrating their prowess on the course.
This year’s tournament celebrated 46 years of partnership between Heritage Insurance and Karen Country Club, underscoring their shared values of camaraderie and community development.
