Kenya to Host Landmark Africa Global Public Relations Week as Nairobi Becomes PR Powerhouse
Nairobi is set to take center stage on the global communications map as it prepares to host the inaugural Africa Global Public Relations Week (AGPRW) from August 26–27, 2025. Themed Beyond Conversations: Redefining PR, Redefining Africa,the high-profile summit is poised to transform the future of public relations across the continent and amplify Africa’s voice in global discourse.
The two-day event will gather a stellar lineup of global and African thought leaders in PR, branding, media, and strategic communications.
Key stakeholders from government, business, academia, civil society, and consumer-driven sectors will also be in attendance. Delegates are expected from across Africa including Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Rwanda, and Ethiopia as well as international players from the U.S., U.K., India, and the UAE.
Among the distinguished speakers confirmed are:

Arun Sudhaman, Non-Executive Chair of ICCO, lauded for shaping global PR strategies;
Paul Holmes, Founder & Chair of Provoke Media, a pioneer in redefining the industry’s role in society;
Sarah Waddington, CBE, CEO of the PRCA, known for championing ethical communications;
Lesijolu Eite Eric-Nwabuzor, Executive Director of The Comms Avenue, an advocate for African-led innovation in communications.
