Kenya Airways has appointed aviation industry veteran Fitsum Abadi Gebrehawaria as its new Cargo Director, signaling a bold step in the airline’s strategy to scale up its freight operations and tap into emerging cargo markets.
Abadi, who brings more than 25 years of experience in the aviation and logistics sector, is expected to spearhead growth in the cargo division with a focus on operational efficiency, strategic market expansion, and building robust global networks.
He is best known for his successful tenure as Managing Director of Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services and has also held senior roles at Salam Air and Ethiopian Airlines.
