Britam partners ICPAK to offer tailored insurance cover for 40,000 accountants
Nairobi,July 16,2026; Britam General Insurance has partnered with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) to provide more than 40,000 accounting professionals with tailored insurance solutions, in a move aimed at strengthening financial security and professional risk protection.
The partnership, announced will see ICPAK members access a range of insurance products, including medical cover, professional indemnity insurance, motor insurance and home insurance, designed to meet the unique needs of accountants.
Tailored cover for professionals
Britam said the collaboration forms part of its strategy to expand sector-specific insurance solutions through partnerships with professional institutions while responding to the evolving needs of Kenya’s workforce.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, Britam General Insurance Chief Executive Officer and Principal Officer James Mbithi said the partnership would enable accountants to safeguard both their personal well-being and professional practice.
