Tusker Oktobafest Lights Up Eldoret in a Grand Celebration of Beer and Culture
ELDORET, Kenya, October 13, 2025 – The spirit of celebration was alive in Eldoret as Tusker Oktobafest made a thrilling stop at Tamasha Lounge on Saturday, October 11, transforming the venue into a vibrant hub of beer, music, and culture. Following a successful launch at Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi, the festival continued its nationwide tour with an unforgettable night for beer lovers in the Home of Champions.
Revellers were treated to an immersive beer experience featuring creative beer cocktails, popularly known as shandies, alongside exclusive offers on Kenya Breweries Limited’s (KBL) diverse range of beers from lagers and stouts to ciders and malts. The Tamasha Lounge came alive with branded stations, photo booths, and interactive games where fans won limited-edition Oktobafest merchandise.
Adding flair to the cultural experience, Tusker brand ambassadors donned striking African-inspired attire, giving the event a uniquely local flavour. MC Gudahman and his electrifying dance crew opened the night with high-energy performances that kept the crowd on its feet. They set the stage for musical sensations Iyanii and Mejja, whose hit songs sent waves of excitement across the venue. DJ Daqchild capped the night with an exhilarating set, spinning a blend of Kenyan favourites that kept Eldoret grooving deep into the night.
Speaking after the event, Brigid Wambu, Senior Brand Manager for Tusker, praised the warm reception from Eldoret fans. “We are delighted to bring the Oktobafest experience to Eldoret. This festival allows us to celebrate beer and culture with our consumers across the country. The turnout here has been phenomenal, and we can’t wait to bring even richer experiences to other regions throughout October, the month of beer,” she said.
Tusker Oktobafest will now head to other parts of the country with three more regional editions: Coast Edition at New Big Tree, Bamburi on October 18; Lake Edition at Atella Beach Resort, Kisumu on October 25; and Mountain Edition at The Stinger Lounge, Nanyuki on November 1.
Access to the events will be through venue tickets priced at KSh 1,000, redeemable for select KBL beers. Beyond the main festivals, over 200 on-trade activations will take place nationwide, featuring flash sales and discounts available on ke.thebar.com and through selected e-commerce partners.
With each stop, Tusker Oktobafest continues to cement its place as Kenya’s ultimate celebration of beer, culture, and togetherness.
