Ol Pejeta Conservancy has unveiled a strategic partnership with national carrier Kenya Airways (KQ) as part of the ongoing OPC@20 celebrations, commemorating two decades of impactful conservation work, community empowerment, and sustainable tourism.

This landmark collaboration marks a new chapter in corporate engagement for conservation in Kenya. Under the agreement, Kenya Airways will play a key role in supporting Ol Pejeta’s Silent Digital Auction slated for September 2025. Proceeds from the auction will directly fund the conservancy’s conservation initiatives, reinforcing its mission to protect endangered wildlife and support local communities.

In a show of support, KQ will contribute two sets of international return tickets to destinations including New York (JFK), London Heathrow, or London Gatwick giving bidders a chance to win unique travel experiences while backing a meaningful cause.Further enriching the partnership, Kenya Airways will sponsor the OPC@20 Golf Tournament set for May 31, 2025, at Nanyuki Sports Club.

As part of the sponsorship, the airline will offer one international return ticket (Nairobi–London Gatwick) and a set of domestic return tickets (Nairobi–Mombasa), adding excitement to the event’s prize pool.

In addition to prize contributions, the airline will extend discounted airfares to Ol Pejeta staff, facilitating travel and strengthening operational logistics.

Speaking on the partnership, Ol Pejeta management lauded the collaboration as a powerful example of how corporate players can meaningfully contribute to conservation. Kenya Airways, in turn, reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability and community development.

The OPC@20 celebrations are expected to attract global attention, with this partnership underscoring the importance of public-private synergy in advancing environmental stewardship.
