TECNO unveils 0mm bezelless concept phone at IFA 2026
Technology brand TECNO has unveiled a next-generation concept smartphone featuring what it describes as an industry-first 0mm display border, eliminating the visible black edges normally seen around smartphone screens.
The device was unveiled at IFA ShowStoppers 2026 in Berlin, where TECNO showcased a wider range of smartphones, laptops and connected devices targeting users across work, education, content creation and entertainment.
0mm display pushes smartphone design further
TECNO said the Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone removes the final visible boundary between the active display and the outer frame, creating a screen that appears to extend directly to the edges of the device.
The company said it achieved the design through advanced internal stacking, structural engineering and new screen-packaging techniques.
The technology is intended to provide a more immersive viewing experience for activities such as video streaming, gaming, photography and everyday browsing.
However, the concept phone is not currently available for purchase. TECNO said it has no confirmed launch date or market for the device, with the technologies developed for its camera integration, touch sensitivity, sound, structural design and user-interface interaction expected to inform future products.
New laptops target work, study and creativity
Alongside the concept smartphone, TECNO introduced the MEGABOOK T15 360 Series, its first laptop range featuring a 360-degree hinge and touchscreen support.

The MEGABOOK T15 360 and T15 360 Pro can be used in Laptop, Tablet, Tent and Stand modes, giving users flexibility when working, taking notes, making presentations or consuming entertainment.
Both models feature 15.6-inch touchscreens with 10-point multi-touch support and optional MPP 2.0 active-pen compatibility.
The Pro version has a 2.5K 120Hz display with 100 per cent sRGB colour coverage, while the standard model comes with a Full HD 60Hz display.
TECNO also showcased the MEGABOOK K15S WCL for students and early-career professionals and the 17.3-inch MEGABOOK T17 Ultra, designed for users seeking larger screens and higher processing capability.
Smartphones add performance and slim design
The smartphone line-up included the POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition and CAMON Slim 5G.
The POVA 8 Pro combines the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G platform with TECNO’s P1 Graphic Chip and a 5K IceShield Vapor Chamber Cooling System.
Meanwhile, the CAMON Slim 5G measures 6.39mm thick and combines a slim design with imaging and AI features.
For Kenyan consumers, TECNO said the devices reflect the growing demand for technology that can support work, learning, content creation and entertainment.
However, Kenya-specific pricing, availability and launch dates for the showcased products have not been confirmed. The company said details would be communicated through official TECNO Kenya channels.
