Murkomen Commends Ruto’s Economic and Security Achievements.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has commended President William Ruto’s leadership, noting that the government’s progress in economic growth, infrastructure development, and security is positively transforming lives across the country.

Speaking in Uasin Gishu County, Murkomen observed that although President Ruto hails from the region, his development agenda is benefiting all Kenyans, regardless of their place of residence.

“I want to tell the residents of Uasin Gishu that even though the President comes from here, we celebrate him across Kenya because development is reaching every corner of the country,” Murkomen said.

He pointed to major infrastructure projects in Wajir, Mandera, and Tana River counties, stating that improved road networks and other development initiatives are opening up previously underserved regions and enhancing economic opportunities.

“The President has transformed Kenya through development as a result of his leadership. Every region is witnessing progress,” he added.

On matters of security, Murkomen said the government has made significant investments in modernising security agencies, resulting in improved peace and stability in areas that were previously affected by insecurity.

He specifically highlighted the Kerio Valley, which he noted had transitioned from a region associated with insecurity to one of peace, enabling residents to engage in business and pursue economic activities without fear.

“Your government has strengthened and modernised security. Today, Kerio Valley is a valley of peace, and residents are happily actively engaged in business and growing their local economy,” he said.
