Uasin Gishu Deputy Govenour. Evans Kapkea has urged the youths who have cleared high school not to shy off from joining technical training colleges .

According to Kapkea he said job opportunities in the county have become very scarce and they should enrol in technical courses that would give them a upper hand for them to earn a living .

Speaking during a graduation ceremony for Mwangiz beauty college where over 100 students graduated and were awarded with certificates

The deputy governor lamented that over 3000 job seekers applied jobs in the county but only a handful were selected ,adding that if the youths embrace technical courses they can make money and become self reliant instead of tarmacking and looking for white colour jobs .

Echoing his sentiments Huruma Member of County Assembly Kimani Wanjohi further advised the youths to move with trend and accept change like men nowadays venture into female dominated field of beauty and apply things like cutex and hair dressing .

Hon Wanjohi said that these fields pay very well and youths should not feel embarassed in doing such kind of jobs instead of depending on hand outs.

The Director of Mwangis Beauty and cosmetology encouraged the youths to join the beauty industry saying that he himself is a role model ,adding that they too can succeed if they take ticket seriously .

Mwangi said many young men are enrolling in the beauty industry that is located in Eldoret town and are doing quiet well.

The Director says that he encouraged because they receive students from as far as Baringo,Marakwet and Bungoma how come to enrol in the beauty industry.

Nancy Lagat a graduands says she so happy to excell in the beauty industry located in the central and is set to begin his business and become self reliant .
