Premier League Football Celebrates Kenya’s Unmatched Passion in New Film
Kenya’s vibrant football culture is taking center stage in a new short film released by The Premier League, celebrating the unmatched energy, enthusiasm, and unwavering support of Kenyan football fans.
Filmed earlier this month, the production immerses viewers in the heart of Kenya’s football scene, showcasing the passionate fan clubs that rally behind their favorite teams.
The film’s highlight is the Guinness Matchday event in Nairobi, where fans gathered for a thrilling big-screen Premier League experience, bringing the spirit of Kenyan football to life.
“It was remarkable to see how passionate Kenya’s football fans are and to witness their incredible enthusiasm for the game. We hope we captured just a little of this emotion, to share it with the world and illustrate how the Premier League has the power to unite people globally,” said Will Brass, Chief Commercial Officer, Premier League.
Guinness, a key partner in fostering Kenya’s football culture, reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the fan experience.
“The Premier League evokes such strong emotions in Kenya; a shared passion and loyalty evident in the online banter and energy on matchdays.
Guinness Matchday continues to offer a home for this incredible energy and appreciation of the beautiful game. Our partnership with The Premier League allows us to deliver even more for football fans in Kenya and across Africa, and this film is a testament to that commitment,” said Henrietta Reed, Guinness Marketing Manager.
The film, “You Won’t Catch Vibes Like This! Matchdays in Nairobi”, is now streaming on The Premier League’s YouTube channel.
