Motorists, Pedestrians Urged to Exercise Caution as Flooding Hits Parts of Nairobi
Residents of Nairobi have been urged to remain vigilant and prioritize safety following flooding in several parts of the city caused by ongoing heavy rains.
Authorities and traffic advisories indicate that key roads have been affected, with motorists specifically warned to avoid Waiyaki Way near the University of Nairobi and the Westlands Roundabout, where sections are currently impassable due to waterlogging.
Other areas experiencing or at risk of flooding include:

- Sections of Mombasa Road
- Riverside areas near Kamukunji

Those currently within the CBD and affected zones have been advised against rushing to leave, with officials recommending patience to allow rainfall to subside and floodwaters to recede.
