The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has hailed its clean sweep in the just-concluded by-elections as a clear endorsement of its reform agenda and a rejection of what it termed “empty rhetoric” from the opposition.
Speaking to the press on Friday in Nairobi, UDA Secretary General Sen. Hassan Omar said the victories in Isiolo South, West Kabras, and Muminji wards reflect growing public confidence in the party’s leadership and development blueprint.
The party congratulated Hon. Tubi Mohamed Tubi for winning the Isiolo South parliamentary seat, alongside Hon. Duncan Muratia Nyaga and Hon. Peterson Njeri Njiru for their respective ward victories.
According to UDA, the outcome demonstrates that voters are increasingly aligning with what it described as issue-based politics focused on economic transformation and social progress.
“This clean sweep across the board stands as a powerful testimony of the immense trust Kenyans continue to repose in the UDA Party, its Party Leader, and his Deputy,” Hassan said
The party said the results signal a departure from divisive and personality-driven politics, arguing that voters are choosing structured policy commitments over “noise without substance.”
UDA further linked the victories to public support for its manifesto and development agenda, which it says is designed to uplift livelihoods and accelerate Kenya’s economic growth trajectory.
Senator Hassan criticised unnamed opponents for engaging in what it called “hot-air politics” and discourse lacking policy clarity. It maintained that the electorate had decisively rejected such approaches in favour of a transformative national vision.
The party expressed gratitude to voters in the affected constituencies, saying the by-elections reaffirm faith in its commitment to delivering tangible results.
“As UDA, we shall not be drawn into unproductive discourse,” he added, reiterating the party’s focus on implementation of its development promises.
The by-election victories come at a politically significant moment, with parties positioning themselves ahead of future electoral contests. For UDA, the results serve as both a political boost and a validation of its ongoing policy agenda.
