The campaign says such messages should raise immediate suspicion, particularly when the sender promises a visa or job before an interview.

Job seekers are advised to verify employment offers directly with the company involved and avoid sending money or personal information to unknown individuals.

The campaign also encourages the public to report suspicious messages and protect their financial and personal information.

Organisers say the initiative is aimed at helping Kenyans identify phishing attempts, particularly those targeting people seeking jobs abroad.
