TECNO Launches CAMON 50 Series in Kenya with Advanced AI and Camera Technology
TECNO has officially launched the TECNO CAMON 50 Series in Kenya, introducing a new generation smartphone designed to capture everyday moments while offering advanced camera innovation and artificial intelligence (AI) features.
The launch highlights TECNO’s vision of smartphones as tools not only for taking photos but also for documenting personal stories and milestones. The CAMON 50 series is positioned as a device for students, entrepreneurs and creators who want to capture meaningful moments from their daily journeys.
Built for both performance and durability, the smartphone features IP68, IP69 and IP69K water and dust resistance ratings, allowing underwater photography and incorporating a self-drainage system designed to enhance device protection.

Among them is the 3X Super-Zoom FlashSnap technology, which allows users to capture fast-moving subjects with improved clarity. The feature reduces motion blur and maintains sharp focus, making it suitable for sports events, live performances and action scenes.
The device also includes AI 60X Super Zoom, enabling long-distance photography while maintaining structure and image sharpness even at higher zoom levels.
To enhance image quality further, the smartphone integrates AI HD Enhancement, an intelligent imaging tool that automatically adjusts brightness, clarity and fine details, allowing users to produce sharper photos without additional editing.
Beyond photography, the CAMON 50 Pro incorporates several AI productivity tools designed to support everyday tasks. Features such as YouTube Summary and AI Health Assistant provide information support, while AI SnapMemo and MindHub allow users to capture ideas and organise notes more efficiently.
The device is powered by TECNO AI Hub 2026, an intelligent system designed to optimise multitasking, improve system responsiveness and adapt to user behaviour. According to the company, the AI-driven platform enhances overall smartphone performance by learning how users create, communicate and manage tasks.
