Kenya Takes Center Stage at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai with Bold Vision for Global Impact
Kenya is making a powerful statement on the global stage as it officially launches its participation in Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, Japan, under the compelling theme “Kenya Rising: From the Bottom Up.” Spearheaded by the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA), the initiative puts the country’s cultural vibrancy, economic transformation, and sustainability-driven innovations on full display.
Held on Yumeshima Island in Osaka Bay, Expo 2025 opened on April 12 with a spectacular ceremony streamed live across the world. Over the next six months, more than 160 countries and international organizations will convene under the central theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”
Kenya’s Vision for a Sustainable FutureAt the heart of Kenya’s participation is a commitment to showcase how grassroots initiatives and homegrown innovations are powering inclusive growth. The country’s pavilion promises to be a dynamic hub, highlighting Kenya’s leadership in sectors such as renewable energy, trade, tourism, and technology.“Our presence at Expo 2025 is more than symbolic it’s a statement of intent,” said Ms.

The pavilion will feature five thematic zones offering an immersive journey into Kenya’s transformation. A major highlight, Sample Bar Kenya, will engage visitors through music, art, and authentic experiences showcasing the country’s iconic exports, including coffee, tea, and flowers.Key moments include:Kenya Week (June 22–25):
