Kenya Airways Partners with Kenya Rugby Union for the 27th Safari Sevens
Nairobi, Kenya, October 13, 2025 – Kenya Airways (KQ) has entered into a new partnership with the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU), becoming the official airline partner for the 27th edition of the Safari Sevens tournament. The collaboration, offered in kind, aims to boost the development of local rugby talent and promote Kenya’s growing influence in the global rugby scene.
Speaking during the launch of the partnership, Clinton Wambua, Kenya Airways’ Marketing Manager for Europe, MEGI Asia, West Africa, and the Americas, said the airline’s involvement in the Safari Sevens goes beyond sponsorship it is a commitment to nurturing Kenyan talent and promoting national pride.
